Here is a young Scot dressed in his formal regimental uniform. Photographs like these were common in World War I; they were produced in limited numbers as postcards for the soldiers to send back home to their friends and loved ones. You will see several of these postcards of young men in this project.These photographs are from my personal collection of World War I postcards. As I look through my collection I cannot help but wonder how many of these boys died in the Great War and are now remembered through these cards.
