Andrea De Man Award for Excellence in English

The Faculty of the Department of English is pleased to announce the Andrea de Man Award for Excellence in English.

Andrea de Man coordinated the department’s Undergraduate Degree Program, and was beloved by undergraduate majors, staff, and faculty over the course of a 22-year career.  In recognition of her many years of service, loyalty, and spirit, the English Department established in her honor the Andrea de Man Award for Excellence in English. Many generous undergraduate alumni and friends established the award to commemorate her considerable contributions to the English department.

The Award includes $500 and looks to highlight students who have demonstrated ongoing commitment to their studies, leadership among their peers, and continuous departmental engagement.
