Biography

Harry Rusche devotes much of his time to Emory College faculty and graduate student programs in computer-assisted instruction. His interests in teaching and research are Shakespeare and current trends in recent poetry.

Among his honors are the Emory University Outstanding Award early in his career in 1968, the Emory Williams Distinguished Teaching Award in 1987, and his appointment to the Arthur M. Blank Distinguished Teaching Chair in 1992.

He has three ongoing projects, all mounted on the World Wide Web: Shakespeare and the Players, Shakespeare Illustrated, and The Great War, 1914-1918, a collection of pictures and poetry in collaboration with the Beck Center.
