Martin Harvey played Hamlet in his production of the play at the Lyric Theatre, London, in 1905. Maud Milton played Gertrude and Charles Glenny played Claudius. This is the last scene of the play, Act V, Scene ii. Harvey is on the left side of the picture; having discovered Claudius's perfidy, Hamlet attacks him and forces him to finish the poisoned wine that has already killed Gertrude.
