This is Act IV, Scene v, of Ernest Carpenter's production of Hamlet, which played at the Lyceum Theatre, London, in 1909. Matheson Lang, who does not appear in this scene, played Hamlet. From left to right are Mary Allestree as Gertrude, Hutin Britton (Lang's wife) as Ophelia, Lauderdale Maitland as Laertes, and Eric Mayne as Claudius.
