The Department of English seeks a Director of College Writing. This is a tenured appointment at the rank of Full or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include developing a robust first-year writing curriculum, teaching graduate courses in composition pedagogy, and playing a cross-departmental leadership role in all matters pertaining to undergraduate writing. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and a distinguished research profile, together with a record of excellence in the teaching of writing.
