Ross KnechtAssociate Professor, Director of Undergraduate Studies

Ross Knecht completed his Ph.D. in English at New York University (2011). Prior to joining the faculty at Emory in 2015, Knecht held a position at the University of Queensland.

Knecht’s primary research focus is Shakespeare and his contemporaries, with additional interest in early modern discourse of the passions, the philosophy of language, and the history of pedogogy.

His articles have been published in a number of leading journals including ELH: English Literary History and Comparative Literature.
